Nederantansie biography 12# Hugo Hammerhead

And here is biography number twelve! Featuring the most battle-loving dwarf of the Hammerhead family.

Early life:
Hugo is the firstborn son of both Hugas and Dido Hammerhead. From a young age, he was always fascinated with fighting. He regularly visited the arena to see gladiators slaughtering goblin prisoners, or when his family is in trouble by troublemakers, he'll gladly bash their heads in. His younger brother Fero was in his younger years a regular target for bullying, so when he finds out who is bullying his brother, he'll go to their house to pay a visit and to set things right. Nobody threatens his family and gets away with it!

Adulthood and current life:
Hugo was during his conscription one of the best soldiers in his company. Once his conscription was finished, he got the option to remain a soldier or to return to civilian life. He choose to be a soldier without hesitation, because he will then get a lot more fighting to do. He quickly rose to the rank of sargeant after an succesfull raid on a goblin town. During his militairy life, he went to patrol the dwarven countryside, slaying the enemies of dwarvenkind and destroying their camps and strongholds. He is respected by his fellow comrades, but they sometimes think that he is kind of a loudmouth and slightly insane because he yells a lot during the fight. Hugo himself doesn't mind that, because he sees the yelling as an inspiring way to fight off his foes.

Other facts:
1. His cousin Bors is one of his regular drinking buddies.
2. As a child, he once drank a lot of alcohol during a party at his family inn. So much that he barfed it all out. Since then, he wasn't allowed by his parents to drink alcohol at major events, which he is still pissed about it.
3. He has the longest moustache then anyone in his family, which he braided and put on some golden rings in it.
4. Once he finds out that one of his family members is kidnapped, he will unleash a fit of rage and kills everyone that's responsible to it.
5. Much to his dismay, his brother Fero likes elves. For years he tries to convince Fero that elves cannot be trusted, which all failed to convince him.
6. He doesn't liked to be confronted by his problems, like if someone tells him to stop drinking ale, he'll angrily barking at him/her to mind their own business.
7. Despite all his flaws, he can be your most trusted ally when it comes to a rescue mission. (Especially if the captives are some of his relatives.)
8. He shaved his headhair to a mohawk, because it's a custom for most dwarven sargeants to shave their heads that way.
9. His battle-axe is made by the Dark Dwarves. It was rewarded to him when he defeated a Dark Dwarf champion in a duel.
